Interesting message I am getting back. It says that promotion code (CARDOFFER4U) is not available with AARP discount. This is for a flight booked in December. All other parameters are met- strictly BA metal. Also price just up about $200 per ticket for the same flight all across a couple of weeks of dates of desired travel in last twenty or so minutes.

Just keep trying. I had to click dozens and dozens of times, then it finally worked.

That address is probably seeing more traffic this afternoon than it was ever designed for. Be patient, and it will work.

Fares look higher now to LHR now dont they?

All west coast flights I was looking at went from $12xx -> $16xx with AARP discount.

@redeemed it's CARDOFFERU not 4U, that might make a difference. Not sure but just trying to help. Snagged JFK>LCY this morning. very happy. This has been a great, productive and helpful thread by all. And just to clarify: BA sent "us" bloggers a PR release about the fare sale so for once we can't be blamed for crashing the deals down.

Prices still holding good for MIA-LHR, FRA-LHR-NYC ($1562 rtn) for 16 NOV - 5 DEC. Non-BA metal on the first leg (AA77W) so no CARDOFFERU.

There are still a few left, but are disappearing fast.

I wanted to make this a mini-vacation rather than a true MR, so I looked for o/j itins and booked:

LAX-LHR // BCN-LHR-LAX with the 77W on both ends for $313 (aarp/avios) in January.

I saw similar itins ex-DFW for as low as $263 but couldn't get the 77W on the dates I wanted.

Blech

Had to do some coordination to get 90k avios to book 3 tix. While doing so it looks like fares rose ~50% ex-dfw

skunker Oct 15, 2015 1:53 pm

I saw LAX-JFK-MAD r/t for $1,040 with AARP and could get $764 off with 30k avios.

If you are logged in to AARP site, you can go directly to this link http://discounts.aarp.org/offer/inde...HAE-LP-SC2-RL4 and click BOOK NOW

You MUST click on dates, select dates, and then click out. Javascript will only then change the Class box from Economy only to including Economy, Club World, First, etc.

Thanks for the link. It worked! Just got 4 tickets next spring to AMS for the tulips!

I'm seeing that prices across the board went up by $400... so the $12xx fares w/ AARP seem dead and are now $16xx.

is everyone else seeing this too?

I've clicked 100's of times - can't get into the booking portal for AARP - oh well - guess not meant to be.
