Needs 5k miles from LAX for UA. Suggestions?
Running about 5k short this year for Plat ex-LAX.
I would usually just do a weekend flight LAX-JFK (currently around $350+), but this time I'd love to hear if anyone has any different recommendation for a lower price?
Prefer to travel over a weekend (same day return works, too).

Someone suggested a same-day trip LAX-IAD on 11/14 for $215 which works to a little over 7k miles, and allows me to visit a cousin while I'm there.
I'll keep the other suggestions in file for future plans. Thanks!
