From what I can tell, the A fare earns 300% on A3 and the D fare (which I have on JFK - SFO) earns 200%. Negative is I won't get the 75% RDM bonus as a Plat
I am thinking the same thing. I believe all the A3 miles are RDM too, so upwards of 50 or 60k. Not much data on trying to redeem A3 miles, but the *A chart looks ok.

At 300%, you really only need to credit one direction on A3 for gold. Does anyone know whether UA will allow a frequent flier number change after half the trip?

So im flying bos-ewr-sfo-icn-sfo-ewr-bos on a quick MR. Then bos-sfo-icn-nrt-ord-bos with a few days in icn to see.
That'll put me well over 50k eqm.
Do you think it might have anything to do with the EWR routing?

Anyone else's get ticket cancelled? My reservation has been ticketed for 3 hours now and still looks good. I bought the tickets as gifts (I personally won't be flying); don't want them to get too excited just yet!

Yes, you will be able to at SFO both ways and ORD depending on the timeframe.

From the UA website: "The following customers may access the United Global First lounge by showing their United boarding pass for a flight arriving or departing on a same-day (within 24 hours) itinerary.

United Global First customers traveling on long-haul international flights*
Star Alliance™ First customers departing on international flights

*Long-haul international flights are between the U.S. and Asia, Australia, Europe, the Middle East or South America."

FWIW, the only GF lounge worth anything is the SFO one.

Apparently a lot of us were busy this morning. My October ICN-SFO flight.

Guess we now know what the excuse will be for a poor 3rd and 4th quarter.

So to clarify, if you are booked in Y for the NRT-ICN leg, there's no conceivable way to bump up to C class. After flying the first segment, BOS-SFO.

Or could I change it to SFO-ICN in (F) and then when coming back from ICN, look for a ICN-NRT leg in C?

This just happened.

Me: "I can't believe I missed a good deal premium fare!!"

Wife: "What was it?"

Me: "United First class to Seoul."

Wife: "I'll make you an ice cream sundae and scowl at you. Feel better?"
