All points posted today (3-5 days after flights). All posted in V class, NOT the booking code listed on AA boarding pass.

I'm now Platinum and 28,828 miles richer (with 50% US airways bonus).

Just noticed looking at a different reservation print-out format for a booking made on this deal that the gender is wrong. i.e. MR instead of MS. Does this pose a problem?

Who would you contact to correct this (if deemed necessary) if booked via OTA?

Great news, V is 100% miles in almost all OW FFPs.

About your "problem" with checkin, Do you book MCE or exit row seats?, I called AA to reserve it (ow status) and they find my reservation, with the AA PNR without problem?. Just to arrive to the airport a little with a little more advance if we have to pass through ticketing office...

Really glad it seems to be working out for you guys. Wish I had jumped on it, but I had to run and jump on a train for Aachen and then Brussels at the very same moment the offer came out. As usual, book these deals instantly when they come, if you can.

Mine are showing up as "O" when I look them up in my AA account, however they are "V" when I look them up under my USAir account.

About miles. I bought via an OTA. My main miles program is avios (oneworld / Iberia Plus). Can I get my miles there with these USAir/AA flights? I'm flying on March 29…

As it's AA-operated, you'll get your avios.

Just make sure you use the AAflightnumber when you claim your avios!

Thanks! The holiday inn would work well for me. Is it easy (and cheap) enough to get into central Milan from there?

I think the best plan would be to take the free shuttle back to the airport, and use the bus service from Malpensa to Stazione Centrale in the middle of Milan. As I remember, the bus (which is perfectly decent) is quite a bit cheaper than the train.
