All carriers have similar wording these days. DL has to decide what their financial exposure is to the pricing (how many tickets booked, etc.). If the fares charged get close to covering their fixed costs, they could very well let them go through. In my case the base first class RT fare Los Angeles to Hawaii is about $54. That may be close enough to covering costs that they will let it occur (customer goodwill, great publicity, etc.).

ebookers is a british site, the prices are quoted in pounds. that price is about right if you convert from the proper foreign currency.

Booked via the dutch site for BWI-KOA over Independence Day for 126 euro (almost half of which was their fees). Got a confirmation number and picked seats but did not get an eticket number yet.
