Many flights showing up as "not available" on LAN site. Suggest 7am feed could have pulled it, or they could have mucked with inventory, but didn't find any $150 deals. Too bad, that's pretty amazing considering how cheap it is to get to MEX.

Somehow I don't think so. I think you called. I am calling for the mods to have you banned for utter disrespect to fellow Fters....

The lowest base fare per EF is now $862

And to pay his penance, he needs to be limited to accruing miles ONLY on Delta for the next year.

How long until we know whether the fares will be honored? Are all tickets equally likely to be honored or does it depend on whether they were purchased from an OTA vs LAN vs AA?

Booked on AA for $130 MEX-LIM-EZE-SCL-MEX for mid January a little after midnight. Didn't get ticketing confirmation til 7:45AM. Took long enough.

Now to find a revenue/award to MEX from WAS.

on the phone with EXP desk and she didn't cancel it right away. They said that AA changed rules this past Aug (I had no idea) and now since you can put flights on hold they don't do 24hr refunds anymore. I politely reminded her that there is no option to hold flights booked on LAN. She spent 10 mins checking something and came back to say that she'll do it.

Just a heads up for anyone who is cancelling and getting resistance from AA.

Sadly, I missed this deal. But even so, I'm pretty incensed that this fellow FTer violated the first rule of FT, especially since he's NOT a newbie: do NOT call the airline! "Jokes" like this one remind me of little kids and when they say/do something awful and then attempt to excuse their actions by saying, " I was only joking..." Yeah, right...

Yeah, there really is one person who makes this "joke" in every single thread like this. It's been done before and it probably wasn't even funny the first time.
