Interesting. No NH-metal for me, but 3 NH-codeshares.

Wont cover you if the airline cancels and if it did it's only up to the value of the ticket purchased not replacement cost.

I was ticketed on EK already - AMEX doesn't show the full charge yet, still just a hold. How long does it usually take for that to process?

I am more interested in how everyone is getting to RGN cheaply or reasonably than getting back to the US(or Brazil).

I was able to get this on TL for US$460... now THATS a mileage run! There are like 3 red-eye flights in there

Also can get to LIM for around the same.

Some people live in local countries, some people, like me, are already in local countries in the middle of travel and some others actually redeem miles/buy a ticket to RGN from wherever they are based.

This has been asked a number of times. I think most are using miles to BKK then a cheap ticket to RGN.

JL pulled their GRU fare! Right in the middle of finding flights.

Still showing up but don't know how long.

I can't believe this is still alive.

Just booked a second ticket RGN-SIN-LHR-JFK... issued on SQ stock within 5 minutes from Travelocity.

Early yesterday I booked RGN-BKK-FRA-JFK (TG/DL) issued on DL stock.

I feel the TG/DL ticket might have a little better chance of sticking than the SQ/DL ticket (but I would rather fly the SQ ticket!)
