I, too, wish I had the HNL bit added on, but I after hearing about it, I only had about an hour left of my free 24 hour cancellation period and couldn't find dates with availability. Oh well. With this deal and a deal posted in the trick forum to South America, I already have about 36K miles lined up in the first two months of 2011. More than this 1P ever has until at least November. All for only about $1K so far =)

Glad this has helped folks out. Has anybody gotten ticket numbers from flightsdirect? They cancelled my first attempt on grounds that they were worried about credit card fraud (I put "other" as the state under billing address as they didn't have US states)

Anybody from the Pacific Northwest flying on this deal? Cant seem to find a decent fare to JFK to justify this run. Not sure I want to spend miles to JFK for this. Any suggestions would be helpful, thanks!

this is what I did
JFK-MRU Day 1
MRU-JNB Day 5
JNB-IAD Day 6
IAD-HNL Day 7 - you can further break this down to IAD-ORD/DEN/LAX-HNL
HNL-JFK Day 7 evening, flight departs at 23:15
