Look as if the fuel surcharge is being applied for newly priced itins.
Example:
ORD-BKK-ORD, September
Base fare USD 940.00
Taxes and Fees USD 377.10
Total USD 1,317.10

Can someone explain the Priceline trick? My searches have generated errors.

The routes I check daily are more expensive today than the previous few weeks. Somebody show me the fuel surcharge savings...

I searched multiple domestic and international itins and there was not one of them I'd consider any different regarding taxes and fees than usual. Same pricing as always.

Perhaps this was the result of some testing UA is doing to figure out the trick.

One way flight from LAX-GEG on 7/9 - I've been looking for days and the prices were always $160-$190 and the price today remains no different.
