UA sales from AA hubs (PHL, CLT, PHX, DFW, MIA) to Sydney and Bali for ~$900

http://www.theflightdeal.com/2015/12...ing-all-taxes/

I booked one for middle/late May 2016, with a stopover at Sydney outbound (for a week) and onward to Bali, Indonesia. The return flight is a redeye from Bali to Sydney and connects to UA flights back to US without exiting Sydney airport. The cost can be less than $900, booked at L fares on UA and H on Jetstar. The Sydney and Bali segments do not earn miles on UA.

Short enough layover in PVG that you'll be fine without a visa?

AA: ORD-MIA-LHR-DEL // AUH-LHR-MIA-ORD is available for 1100 at peak travel times this summer (shorter/longer routes possible.) For anyone trying to get from the US to India on Oneworld for a non-ridiculous price, this is a good option. Buy a 100 dollar DEL-AUH ticket for the return.... 6cpm

Assume outbound partially on BA and return on EY. Are they mileage earning fare classes?

All flights are AA numbers, and therefore earn full miles. The metal is AA-AA-BA // BA-AA-AA.

A "layover " by definition is less than 72 hours, which is how long you can transit without visa.

I'm aware. But the transit without visa is 72 hours (soon to double). 24 hours is less than 72 hours.

Full rdm miles may not amount as much as you think. AA going to revenue based rdm sometime in second half of 2016.

Eqm would be based on miles flown.

Dl: Dtw-den $156 rt

Might be matching Spirit's fares on this route. Books into V class. Example dates 2/21-2/24. Good prices in first too, for example $384 on 3/5-3/8. Scattered dates only.
