I doubt if this is an error. I would bet this is a "please someone fly on our planes" sale. I noticed those pictures the other day of an a380 economy section with two people in it.

Not really. Go book a United flight for mid-December. It'll be pretty empty too. The reality is that most people don't book 4 months out.

Well you are wrong. Going through the fare rules, it's certainly an error. These prices don't even cover the airport taxes.

Given that MH just fired a whole bunch of people, I don't think much is being done to fix this mess. My biggest concern is that *if* MH goes bankrupt, we lose the tickets and everything booked around it.
