I think MH didn't include YQ in the fare calculation for a short period of time (and maybe still hasn't included it in certain destinations). The fare increase after selecting your flights includes the YQ.
For all those partaking in this deal:
- MH has always honored error fares IME, even all the rules associated with it (the only exception was the recent MH ex-SFO deal, which was canceled since they are not code-sharing with CX)
- No advance complimentary seat assignments in MH Y class even though you are a Oneworld elite (ruby/sapphire/emerald). However, check-in opens 48 hours prior and you should be able to get a decent seat up to 24-30 hours before departure.
- No mileage accrual on flights booked in N, O, Q ("Economy Promo" tickets) on any programs except for MH's Enrich
- For those accruing on AA, all mileage-earning flights count as 1 segment (no 0.5 segment)
- For those counting on EQP on AA, the L, V, S booking class is only 25% EQP of the total mileage flown (50% base miles and 50% EQP, effectively making it 25% - I learned that the hard way last year).

That's good to know. So the missing YQ is the cause of this runaway fare sale?
