Maybe they're trying to fill as many seats as possible instead of letting planes go empty?

I have a last minute interview for job opportunities and have to miss out my trip due next weekend. Since it's O class fare, can I get it change of a fee with MH? Would they cancel the ticket once they found out about this mistake fare?

No one really should be able to complain given the fares were active for nearly a week..

Funny- just flew this almost exact itinerary Tuesday/Wednesday, though paid US$31, because I booked through Cheaptickets. Only difference was I got the 18:30 flight back from Manila (one hour transit in KL).

Flights were about half full- always got a free seat next to me. Sure, 6-7 hours each way instead of 4 direct, but the cheapest business trip I've done in a while.

Did you check the rules (sorry, standard FT answer these days )

Last time I had to change an O fare ticket it was SGD50.

Hope you got the $50 hotel credit. I'm sitting on +500usd after booking all these. The T&Cs say you should only earn $100 a year, so I need to burn them quick!

Also, following the layoffs, part of me hesitates to take advantage of MH, which is really one of my favorite airlines.
and if you don't transit (i.e. not pass through immigration) you would have to pay the Philippine departure tax when leaving.

Booked via travel agent and has to make the change via travel agent. This means agent fees. Unable to change in their office. Will forfeit the tickets.
