The below is from our moderator (taken from the first post of the thread - bolding is mine). Feel free to add more if necessary / as needed.

Happy 2014!

Please use this thread to post or to follow Economy Fares which are 'Good Deals' but where the cost per mile is more than 3-4 cents per mile, which is the usual upper limit for what is considered a true 'MR Deal'.

A few requests for posting in the thread:

-members posting their deals please post the city pairs/airport codes and pricing in the body of the post and not just in the post title as it isn't visible for those reading it on mobile devices (ETA: ...or in email alerts)

-some members may be unaware that you can subscribe to this thread and to do that you can go to "Thread Tools" at the top of the thread and click on "Subscribe to this thread".

Thus, CPM is borderline irrelevant here. Do some folks care, sure. But that is not what this thread is for. In contrast, most folks would consider true MR's to be in the sub 4CPM range. CPM is included because it is often the most important factor in making the run. It's the same reason a 2CPM fare is often balked at as an MR if it requires a two week stay. So, for this thread, folks should not have to be concerned with posting a CPM, and for those that want it, take the time to calculate yourself. Let's not dissuade folks from posting all together.
+1

There are German blogs pretty much spelling out how to 'trick' these fares. Which means it's surely mentioned somewhere along the way in the appropriate FT thread.

Me too but I think there is a way to save money by booking one way fares. I'm not sure about that though because I've never attempted it.

I agree with ExpatSomchai. You cannot post this here w/o the evidence.

Since the mods aren't coming here,
all discussion of trick fares is supposed to be in the Trick it thread. If you have questions, go there. If you think a fare would be better by a fuel dump, go there.
