The below is from our moderator (taken from the first post of the thread - bolding is mine). Feel free to add more if necessary / as needed.

Happy 2014!

Please use this thread to post or to follow Economy Fares which are 'Good Deals' but where the cost per mile is more than 3-4 cents per mile, which is the usual upper limit for what is considered a true 'MR Deal'.

A few requests for posting in the thread:

-members posting their deals please post the city pairs/airport codes and pricing in the body of the post and not just in the post title as it isn't visible for those reading it on mobile devices (ETA: ...or in email alerts)

-some members may be unaware that you can subscribe to this thread and to do that you can go to "Thread Tools" at the top of the thread and click on "Subscribe to this thread".

Yes corrected There was a discussion a while ago that you could earn miles with flyDubai but it never went anywhere.

There has been an OKV0EUS sale on BA for a while offering:

OSL-LHR-SFO + return SNA-DFW-LAX-LHR-ARN

Price: £210
Fare classes O or S (Q-is a bit more expensive). Also you can substitute LAX with any other zone 1 destination. Similar fares for CPH and ARN originating flights.

Outbound valid Mon, Wed, Fri, return max 2 transfers in zone 1 on return, no tranfers in zone 1 on outbound.

Total miles 14879, for OWS or OWE double that due to bonus miles.

Example itinerary is below:

Provided the NYC-HNL section is not longer than the shortest trip in your itinerary it could be booked as an open jaw ticket. However, NYC-HNL(OGG or any other in Hawaii is almost 5k miles) so in this case probably not bookable as cheap-ish open jaw as most EU-NYC are only around 3.5-4k miles.

Maybe if you do EU-DFW and HNL-EU, that could work as open jaw

I managed to further max-out on the miles, but that's probably as much as possible from this fare code:
15226 miles for £212.53 (double miles for OWS/OWE) going back via ORD and SEA
Classes O and S

Just PM me your dates and preferred times and locations, and if you want to have max-miles OR as little-time spend on plane, and will do my best to find some for you.
