Please use this thread to post or to follow Economy Fares which are 'Good Deals' but where the cost per mile is more than 3-4 cents per mile, which is the usual upper limit for what is considered a true 'MR Deal'.

Delta has YHZ->HKG->YHZ from C$ 765!
There are various dates from Aug 18 to Sep 1. I've checked for lengths of stay from 5-10 nights, but there may be immediate returns as well. However, trip time is around 25 hours each way.
The cheapest routing I've found is YHZ-DTW-SEA-HKG and back the same way.
For a little more (C$ 779) there is a YHZ-DTW-NRT-HKG routing available at least in one direction, with a little longer trip time.
For C$ 782 the deal extends at least into mid-October, but trip times are longer (about 28 hours outbound). Sample outbound routings:
YHZ-LGA-ATL-NRT-HKG
YHZ-LGA-MSP-NRT-HKG
And, my favourite:
YHZ-LGA-GSP(!)-ATL-NRT-HKG The trip time is the same 28 hours on this one, but it includes several risky connections. With this routing, one would fly at six different types of aircraft on the entire trip, spanning from MD80 to A330. :-)
Books into V.

JFK-AUH nonstop ~$700

For those that want some 2014 action, there is plenty in November. Just talked with DL DM desk and confirmed there is availability for upgrades using globals. BE to DXB for $865 is not the worst deal ever.
