LOL, yeah, there's pretty much nothing to do in Tyler.. Probably not a MR candidate unless you can figure out a way to get to Shreveport to gamble (97 mile drive). Wish the fares were that low to just DFW!

Edit: After searching on matrix Aug. 21 is the 1st available date. I was hoping for the impossible June 30- July 7.
There is a lot of talk about roses and TYR, but I've never been. I would like to try it out because the DFW premium goes away.

SLC-YYZ for ~$280rt on United/Air Canada. No date or advance purchase requirements. Haven't looked much at the routing rules, but routing through LAX or IAH seems to have the most miles at first glance.

~5.17 cpm, appears to be a lot of availability and is a direct flight. Southwest apparently has cheaper flights for ~$130 but I found the availability and times not as good for the dates I was looking at.

I also saw ORD-BKK via PEK on AA and HU for $1005 for September bookable on fly.com. Looks like HU is having a sale for US cities to Thailand routes. Quite cheap for this route but not sure how the mileage works.

Meaning you can only depart BOS, or depart HKT, on one of those four dates. They are all at least two weeks apart. And in fact, in actually checking, the only date I can find for departure from BOS around September 17th, and departing HKT on October 19th. Also, despite it being 4.1 cpm, I can't find anywhere decent to credit HU to. I'm not considering this really (even if I filled the trip in with miles, the dates simply don't work), but posting it in case someone, somehow, can make use of it. Quite a bizarre fare.
