- Fare feels too good to be true? Don't call the airline!!!!!!
- Double check that the fare is actually in Business or First as some online search engines or OTA's confuse booking classes on some airlines.
- Post as many details as possible about the First / Business fare, including fare class, fare basis, one-way / roundtrip, sales channel, sample dates & total price, including taxes.
- Post the details within the thread itself and not in the post title field as any information typed here cannot be seen by members accessing the thread using mobile devices.
- Refrain from posting fare requests or engaging in off topic debates such as fare trends, specific aircraft configuration or visa requirements
- The deeply discounted international fares discussed here are almost always specific to a certain country of origin, so don't ask if it works in reverse (e.g. a SFO-LHR-SFO fare usually won't work LHR-SFO-LHR). Domestic fares more commonly work in reverse.
- Last, but not least, Don't call the Airline!

AALAX Mileage Run (premium)
To finish off an EXP challenge, I just booked the following route. The benefits of this route is IND, CMH, RDU all give double RDM, and with three city pairs you get a bonus 5,000 miles on top of it. Couple that with the accelerators (elite, and 1.5x for higher class fares), and if you use a Citibank card. It becomes a nice mile pump. Total Miles is 12,015 for the route below (of course I have a personal reason to terminate in ORD, but you could drop back to IND for even more miles .... All flights are "P" ....
Base = 12,015
AALAX Bonus = 20,544 + 5,000 = 25,544
Fare Bonus = 6,008
Elite = 24,030
Credit Card = 5,791
EQP = 18,023
IND-LAX-RDU-LAX-CMH-LAX-ORD = 73,388 miles
Cost of the route was ~$2895.35
Base = 12,015
AALAX Bonus = 20,544 + 5,000 = 25,544

Now if that route came in at $1500, there would be a few takers.

Malaysia airlines sales from Indonesia/Vietname/Australia
I flew Bali to Europe on Malaysia Airliness a few weeks back for ~£1650 (~$2600). Which given I needed to fly that route and the alternatives (I'd pay that to fly premium economy normally) was a very good deal for me. The sale is back: http://www.malaysiaairlines.com/id/e...f-the-day.html
There's an easy class/destination/origin filter box on the right to make searching the offers easy. Not sure how well priced any of the other routes are.
FYI: I used the multi-city option to fly out of Amsterdam instead of London. Same base fare without penalty for the open jaw but you save the ~£200 in taxes for leaving long haul premium from the UK. Instead I spent half that to get a flight to Amsterdam the previous day and an airbnb night: got to see the city a little + catch up with friends.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but that's like less then 1/5th of EXP. There are a lot more way to get the same effect for less money, even flying in international premium cabin (with less RDM for sure, but much more comfortable).

It's an EXP challenge, where you pay AA for a chance to fly, say 25% of the EXP miles within a couple of months, and if you succeed you get full EXP status.

Oman air has a 20% C sales from CMB, in example MXP/ZRH return under 1100 EUR in business.
You must buy before 20th Nov, and fly in 2013.

Another good one from YEG!
YEG-PVR, YEG-CUN, YEG-SJD , open all next year it seems for around $870-$940 R/T in J, all on UA for around 6CPM with CoS bonus
Routing through ORD and LAX is best, but you can codeshare on AC and fly YYZ/IAH instead for a few hundred miles less(but better lounges and in flight food).
