SHARES and partners..... haha, good luck!

Why not just book it on an OTA?

I just got back. IAD-FRA was delayed due to "needing to take bags off of the plane" when we got to the runway in IAD and then a medical emergency. Miss connected in FRA but got put on the next TK (which was also reclassed to Y fare so I got credit.) Ended up in IST 3 hours later than planned. Might email UA to see if I can get a voucher for the delay since even without the medical emergency I still would have missed my connection. Flight back on LH then 15 hour "connection" in FRA.

DL/AF: ORD-CDG-IST-CDG-CVG-ORD a/i $582 (that's $0.05 cpm)

Just booked ORD-CDG-IST-CDG-CVG-ORD for weekend travel at just $582 (that's $0.05 cpm) plenty of dates in January... The Paris leg has two options for stop-overs - either spend a day in Paris (leave at 7:00pm) or short stop-over and longer in Istanbul...

Great way to start off the new year with 11,593 MQM's....

Nice one! I received this offer today and was pleased to see tons of *A availability throughout Jan., Feb., and Mar. I was able to (dummy) book ORD-MUC-IST-MUC-ORD departing Feb. 22 and returning Feb. 24 for $540 a/i.

*edit: Looking more closely, this is on a K fare, which does not appear to earn United mileage, as mentioned upthread.

I'm going twice.

January 19-21 as a mileage run (15 hours in the city) - ORD-MSP-CDG-IST-CDG-ORD.

March 16-23 as a vacation - ORD-DTW-AMS-IST-AMS-MSP-ORD. May be on the same flights as lifesimply!

Am I the only one who finds it weird that UA loaded a L fare that is cheaper than a K fare for travel in January (or did they load a K fare incorrectly)?
