FWIW, those are some pretty incredible fares for south Florida, to fly from FLL or PBI to SFO, ROUNDTRIP, for approx. $230 ai with a LOT of availability choices is really saying something!

LGA - ATL $119. a/i

It's on Air Tran, but it's a pretty good fare. Good until March on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

some consider MR'g to be nutty in the first place ...

At that price I'd rather do a RT TATL (hopefully upgraded) on AA, not the world's largest airline. to each their own.

bon voyage

See the other MR Deal on this ND/DL deal, with similar routing for the second and subsequent sectors:

That IS nuts ( or crazy if you prefer ) $ 775.00 Are you going to walk from Seattle back to Minneapolis.

You can go to Asia for that price.

3 cpm should be your threshold for a trip without any other benefits than FLYING

US/UA: ORD-CUN $276 all/in

Mostly US flights, but some UA legs available too.

Example:

Friday Jan 29th
ORD-PHX-CUN

Wednesday Feb 3rd
CUN-PHL-BOS-ORD

About 4.5 cents per mile

There are more direct routings available too, but what's the fun in that?

Anyways, it's a great deal for a sunny getaway during Chicago winter.

ORD-NAS is also available for $311 all/in, but far less miles.

Not sure if this is useful for anyone besides me but meh... CUN-SFO in UA, SFO-CLT-BWI in US. $168 for 5064 miles, 3.3 cpm, L fare. Date is ONLY Feb6-7 but you might get lucky with others. Books on Travelocity. This is only a one way, I'm not interested in coming back to Mexico. :Đ

I usually don't count elite bonus into cpm, so w/o bonus, it is like 8 cpm... Too high to be a MR, IMO

SFO-IAD is about $200 on UA right now with some same day turns available. This doesn't put it into pure MR for a lot of people, but it is about as cheap as it usually gets.
