"Navy bean" is what we'd get if a good seiche washed the Anish Kapor sculpture out into the lake.

It was a mess at ORD last night. After the tornado warning another storm blew thru. We didn't make it to ALB until 3am! Nothing like a couple of hours sleep before going to work.

Our tornadoe sirens went off last night in Old Town. Very creepy. Result was alot of downed trees.

Wow! I cannot believe it what happening in ORD last night. I have been heard the Cubbies games has been delayed due to severe weather in ORD areas. I noticed that I saw the lightning were strike in downtown Chicago. I have been spoke from my friends on the phone last night. I knows some of those people were evacuated from the game due to severe thunderstorm in the Wrigley Field. The umpire has been stopped the games. The players were went back inside the clubhouse while the weather is gone away for several hour. Hopefully everything will be alright for awhile. I won't worry about my friends who lives in Chicago.

(in case the link changes, the one I'm referring to is the lightning strike on the skyline by John Sheehan)

Thanks for sharing me these photos that I saw the lightning were hit the tower. I was disappointed what happened over there by few night ago. I have been spoke with my friends from ORD. He told me that happening that mean it was hit in the downtown Chicago. Luckily, they didn't get some extremely damaged the tornadoes didn't touchdown in downtown Chicago. Hopefully they will expect to clean it up the trees and near the house, too.
