There is a Giordano's nearby that your shuttle driver would likely drop you at and pick you up from. I can't stand Giordano's, but it would seem most Chicagoans love it ...

Another possibility is the Gino's East located on Higgins Road. They DO deliver to O'Hare area hotels - I got a pizza delivered to the Westin a couple of months ago.
Be sure to ask for the one on Higgins Road.
Note: $2.00 delivery charge + tip (worth it if it's cold)!

There is a Harry Caray's Italian steakhouse a mile from ORD (in the Holiday Inn Select by the Sheraton Suites). That is just about the best food around O'Hare (but expensive), in fact it is every bit as good as downtown (and better than the best steakhouse in 90% of cities). Was always amazed that it was located in such a low end hotel (not even a HI).

Yes, this is a great find that seems to get passed by when talking about places to eat near O'Hare. Don't know where Itialian comes from, never noticed it in the name and there is nothing Itialian about the joint.

There are 2 sides of the restaurant, the "bar" that everyone usually thinks of when you think Harry Caray, and the restaurant side which is actually very good and somewhat classier. If you've always gone to the bar side, you may not have noticed.

The HI Select is a group-within-the HI group that is supposed to denotes the better range of HI properties (those not quite at the Crowne Plaza level). I've stayed in a few, for example, the HI Select at SEA is not all that great, while the HI Selects in DT Philadelphia and near PVD airport were actually very good (both of them have been promoted to Crowne Plaza status).
As for the food at Harry Caray's, it has always had an Italian-influence steak-and-chop house menu. This statement is from their website:
Harry Caray's is a unique
combination of a classic Chicago
steakhouse and traditional
Italian restaurant. We proudly
serve only the finest prime, aged
steaks and chops.

I'm not a big fan of Haray Caray's steaks, but their lunch menu is good.
For future reference, if you're on a work trip and stuck at O'Hare overnight:
1. Cafe La Cave is old school atmosphere and "continental" menu, but well-executed. It's a few blocks north of Higgins on Manheim
2. Zia's is in Edison Park (about a $7 cab ride). That's where I used to take people when I lived in Elmhurst and got "hey, I'm stranded at O'Hare tonight, what are you up to" calls from co-workers.
