No, I was under the impression that we couldn't because we'd be flying AA, so our bags wouldn't go straight from DSM to DUB.
What I'm really trying to determine is if we can save time and hassle flying into ORD versus driving 6+ hours to ORD parking, managing luggage, etc. But I am sure that you can call AA and check. |
Probably a ridiculous question but...
I'm arriving in T2 and need to get to Concourse C on T1. I have read that by veering left I can get to T1 without having to go through security. How does one get from Concourse B to Concourse C in T1, and can this be done without going through security as well? |

Instead of walking you can take a shuttle that runs from gate E3 (or E4?) to gate C9.

Is the shuttle airside? My main concern is having a shortish connection (70 min) and not wanting to get stuck in the security line again.

Yes, the shuttle referred to is airside (inside security), as indicated by it going between gates on the E Concourse (Terminal 2) and C Concourse (T1). It is a quick trip via shuttle; just depends on how soon the shuttle departs. In any case (walking or shuttle bus), as long as you don't have mobility issues, 70 minutes should be at least 2 if not 3 times the amount of time you to get between the terminals and gates.

Sorry for the necro but I felt alittle update is in order.
Pizzeria Uno has closed down. Aer Berlin will be departing from T3 now. Qatar will be departing from T3 now. Emirates has delayed start up and is looking at a winter time frame at the earliest Hainan has pushed back their startup until Sept 3rd due to issues with the 787 Pakistan is restarting in late May Immigration staffing for the summer is still top issue and being addressed both locally and on a national level. For those driving, if you're on 294 near the Irving park toll plaza, you can see LOT's 787 parked on the International ramp. It's been rather slow for winter, but it has given Westfield time to move along in the revamp of concessions. |

No. You will have to take the ATS train from your arrival terminal (either 1 or 2) to T5 and go through security again.
I realize this is an old post and that the OP was flying UA, but I'm adding it here for the benefit of those on AA/BA and others who are willing to beg/plead/etc. |

What's "signatory status"? Will T5 be henceforth known as "Frontier Terminal"? ;)
Signatory makes you finanically committed to the terminal until 2018 (When the bonds are paid off) each airline that signs on has to have a minimum of 700 square feet of space. It allows for cheaper rates and charges when you operate a flight into the terminal. |
