Call me sentimental but I just purchased two mugs from midwestairlines.com because in the future the Midwest Brand and Logo will be gone... I'd like something to remember them by.

I did the same thing for NWA. There's a republic mug at my parents house somewhere.

Better buy it now. Eventually, it will be gone and end up on E Bay at triple the price.

"Frontier Airlines Chocolate Chip Cookies" just not have the same ring to it.
I'm guessing they will be gone soon. Might want to save a box or 2 (empty of course). I know as a DL flyer I've had my last cookie - at least it was at the BCC by real Midwest people instead of those fools on the Republic jet that couldn't run the oven.

Article in this morning's JS from Tom Daykin.

http://www.jsonline.com/business/92061899.html

Jay Sorensen behaved himself this time.

And the last quote, from Dave Fantle, if I remember correctly was nearly word-for-word what Bryan Bedford said at the brand announcement.

Well, Jay can't bash Midwest anymore because it is gone and Frontier is a potential customer of his company. So he is playing nice for now. Wait until Frontier gives him the cold shoulder. LOL

Daykin breaks another non news story on a slow news Monday.

Sorensen gets his name mentioned twice. He must be happy today.

YX was a sponsor of the Milwaukee Bucks. I noticed while watching their playoff game in Milwaukee the other night that the announcers now say, "Brought to you by Frontier Airlines." and the "tails" commercial was played several times. It appeared that the signage inside the Bradley Center was still Midwest Airlines however.

The Brewers still have the Midwest Airlines trivia contest at Miller Park, where a fan can win a pair of airline tickets for correctly answering a Brewer trivia question.

The signage at Miller Park is all still Midwest Airlines.

The signage for the Milwaukee Bucks will be changed for the next season. It takes awhile to come up with the new designs and to create the signs. So there's no rush to get it done before the end of this season.

Do you think there is a chance I would lose my Midwest Miles when the switchover to Frontier is complete? Should I use those miles up now?

The miles from both accounts will be combined so you shouldn't have anything to worry about.
