So, yeah...the blossoms were mostly done in D.C. by Thursday. I did get out for a run along the mall on Friday morning, and it was beautiful, even without the blossoms.
I stayed with a friend in Columbia Wednesday and Friday nights, and the blossoms up there were in full-bloom, so at least I wasn't completely shut out, even if it wasn't the location I was hoping to see!

From the other side of the river, today it was clear that there was not much left of the cherry blossoms. Oh well, they'll be back next year.
