CNTE (teachers union) is back in the historical center for more demonstrations
CNTE is back.
Expect 15 November to be one of the worst days in history for CDMX. All the protesters from just about every major group will end up in the Zocalo on that day. I would definitely advise to stay far away.

Planned Protest and Demonstration for 20 November @11:00 am CDMX
Another protest is scheduled for November 20th. I doubt it would be as large as the one on the 15th, but expect some violence in the city.

Reading about this Gen Z protest and not sure what to think about any of it either geopolitically or as a potential tourist.
I am inclined to stay home in spite of my desire to enjoy Mexico. I love you but maybe this is a bad time for guests...

Mexico City has over 3000 Demonstrations per year.😄 Mainly in those same areas. Actually, the demonstrations in September are the worst because they last weeks. Just don't go where they are demonstrating. It's not a demonstration against tourists or foreigners. It's against the government. Like the one's throughout the world including the UK and the USA. No difference.

Do you know how big Mexico City is? All the protests and demonstrations happened between the Angel of Independence and the Zocalo. They just had a demonstration on 15 November.

⚠️ Monday, November 24th will be a huge Blockade throughout the Country
On Monday, November 24th, Farmers and Transportation workers plan to shutdown the country, including all the roads, customs point of entry, industries, etc.
They are telling everyone to stay home and off the roads. This might be the largest blockade yet.
If you have any tours or plan on traveling around the country on that day, you may consider postponing.
