My favorite part is still that there is no VISA requirement as some past Marriott MegaBonuses have had... Hallelujah!

My Spring MegaBonus is 35k miles after 15 stays with 7k awarded after each 3 stays. Too bad I have 3 stays booked in January before the promo begins. :(

I too am a bit ticked off that Marriott's 2009 "Spring" Megabonus doesn't start until Feb. 1st, & then only runs for 3 months, with one of those months being Feb. & 2-3 days shorter than most months...

Anyone notice that the 2008 "Fall" Megabonus ran for 4 full Months, from Sept. 15th to Jan. 15th 2009. The Fall Megabonus Promo ran for a full extra month, (total of 4 months), however, with that extra month comes the VISA Requirement...

Also Note that the 2008 "Spring" Megabonus ran from Feb. 15th to May 15th, also 3 months... So both spring 2009 & 2008 ran for approx 90 days & did not have a VISA Requirement. Why cant they just run a 4 month no-Visa requirement MegaBonus? Here's hoping for that in the fall of 2009...

There was no information about and no way to register for the Spring 2009 MegaBonus on the website (when logged in--I didn't check site without logging in).

I called MR Guest Services and the polite CSR registered me for the Spring MegaBonus. 50K for 25 nights. :)

With the recent devaluation in the program and the latest Mega offer compared to SPG's (500 points per night and 5,000 every 5th night through end of April) - its off to SPG for me.

Spoke too soon, just got my email - 5,000 points every other paid stay upto 25,000. Still not as healthy as SPG's but better than the fall's mega.

Would you believe I still haven't gotten an e-mail or any offer showing up in my MR account yet for this? As a Plat.....:confused:

I didn't receive an email. I was automatically registered for the Megabonus. Mine is 25,000 after 15 stays and an additional 15,000 after 20 stays.

25K/11stays - no mail - promotion appeared on the website - had to register.
Starts from 2nd stay on, so eff. 25K/10 stays = 2.5K/1 stay.
