LnF Question
I'm going to stay a little vague on the property and the location intentionally, so please bear with me.
There's a Marriott property that only has a suite available. Already I can see a better price on another site. Is this an apples-to-apples comparison that LnF would kick in?
Also, I have an existing reservation with another Marriott property in the same city for the same time period. Should I cancel that one before submitting the LnF claim (that is, if it is indeed apples-to-apples)?
TIA.

The room type has to match for the LNF guarantee. If you have time, cancel your existing reservation only after you get a reply for your LNF claim.
your LNF claim should be submitted more than 24 hours before check in time. They get back to you from any where between 6 hours to a day.
Good luck.

2. You must submit your LNF claim within 24 hours of your booking with Marriott. So, cancel the old one, rebook, submit claim. Response is usually fast, within 12 hours.
