Thank you, Smart Shopper! And, yes, extending one extra weeknight is a possibility, so I would be interested in learning about the potential LNF rate.

Most of the times flexibility helps!

This is what I would do:
  1. Book on www.marriott.com one standard room for $ 499 (+ taxes) for two nights, checking in on 11/1
  2. Look into your inbox to enter name of internet web site where you found $ 392.5/night rate (+ taxes)
  3. Make a claim
  4. Cancel your third night (Mo/Tu for $ 499).

At the end of all these steps you should hold two weekday nights at $ 294,38 (+ tax) instad of one for $ 499 (+ taxes).

Good luck!

i searched all the alternative hotels booking website that i know, fouind a lower rate and tried to make a cliam, but was denied. marriott replied that this was because the website i found issues a travel voucher for a hotel that is not in US/Canada. and it is pre-paid, even though it was booked at a flexible rate at this alternative website. i thouhgt most of the other booking websites offer a travel voucher?

i'm looking at jw marriott seoul on 24/11 for one night.

current rate for a superior room is 337590 kwr (about 288 usd)

can anyone find a lower rate? thanks!

Hello All,

I'm looking for a better rate than my current $149 (first night) and $199 (second night) at the Fairfield Inn in Verona, NY for 8/4-8/6.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks, John

No luck on an LNF yet, but if you reserve your two nights separately on marriott.com I am seeing availability at $149 for the first night and $159 for the second night.

You need the read the T&Cs. Voucher sites are only valid for US and Canada. Outside the US you need a site not operating on the voucher system. This obviously makes it a LOT more difficult, but not impossible.

There are plenty of sites not operating on the voucher system  You are more limited, but most of the time there is something to be found.

Good afternoon!

Looking for a LNF rate for the Berlin Marriott, either for 8/18 or 8/19 for one night. Current best rate is 159 Euro, ineligble sites are as low as 113 Euro...

Any idea how to come close to or possible break the 100 Euro barrier without loosing the points- and stay-credit by booking through the voucher site?

Greetings - Dirk

Marriott Amsterdam

In addition to my message of a few minutes ago,

I am looking for an LNF rate for TWO king rooms (total is four adults and a one-year-old) in

Marriott Amsterdam (the Netherlands), 19-21 August 2010 (two nights) with breakfast included.

I was able to find 199 / 249 EUR (for each night) with LPR code on marriott.com, but only if I try to book just one room (that rate is not available when trying to book the two rooms together, which I prefer to do.)

Thanks again!

Your problem is that Amsterdam seems well-booked that weekend with little availability. The Marriott only has one regular room left, and the Renaissance is down to Executive rooms only. This will probably be the source of your probelms...
