Will be visiting Japan with Cherry Blossom season. Would prefer Marriott hotels due to Platinum status, preferably FS hotels, but unfortunately prices are insane.
I tried looking for LNF rates but couldn't find any. Maybe somebody here knows some good price comparison sites for Japanese hotels.
Starwood properties are off course welcome as well but I will do a separate post for these in the SPG forum.
Kyto/Osaka 2-6 April 2018
Moxy(Osaka) 129$
CY(Osaka) 214$
RC(Osaka) 528$
Marriott (Osaka) 392$
Kyto/Osaka 7-9 April 2018
Moxy(Osaka) 125$
CY(Osaka) 227$
RC(Osaka) 783$
RC (Kyoto) 1365$
Marriott (Osaka) 422$
PS Kyoto - Osaka is just 30 minutes by train so that's why I look in both cities on both dates. Preferably the idea was to stay in Kyoto 4 days, Osaka 2 but in case we find a good price we can adapt our plans :-)

Hi all FT'ers!
Looking at:
Check in/out dates: May 22-26
Hotel Name: Residence Inn New York Manhattan / Midtown East
I'm booked at the AAA rate as follows:
5/22 379.00
5/23 379.00
5/24 379.00
5/25 265.00
Total 1,402.00
Standard rate is as follows:
5/22 399.00
5/23 399.00
5/24 399.00
5/25 279.00
Total 1,476.00
Any help would be greatly appreciated -- I've never been successful at finding a lower rate and would love to on this one, especially since we have multiple rooms booked.

Really appreciate for any help, thanks.
hotel: marriott osaka miyako
date: 24~25 april 2018 (1 night)
room: superior twin

Hi. I'm looking at hotels in Edmonton, Canada for Dec 29-31.
Delta Edmonon Centre Suites is 199CAD/night and Edmonton Marriott at River Cree Resort is 170CAD/night. Haven't found anything better. I'd appreciate it if anyone can help.

Would appreciate help with a relatively inexpensive rate at any Marriott property in Downtown/Brikell Miami Jan 26-29. Found $234 a night at the JW Brickell on Getsnaptravel, but the cancellation policies don't align. Thanks in advance.

Since you seem not to mind a short train trip, the newly opened Marriott Lake Biwa prop is an easy trip from Kyoto (and even though a resort is offering full P benefits)
LNFs in Japan are never gonna be easy and the Lake Biwa std rates are very reasonable, even during cherry blossom festival time (I’m staying here 3 nights in April but also bit the bullet on another 3-nights in Kyoto along with 3 in Osaka)

Hotel: JW Marriott Marquis, Dubai
Dates: December 21, 2017 - December 27, 2017
Room Type: Sea View.
Marriott.com rate: AED 5,900 (~ US $ 1,600) for 6 nights including taxes for Sea View Room and AED 5,352 for Guest Room.
I found a cheaper rate for a Sea View Room on Hotels.com but it as rejected. Hotels.com has a lot of different rates for sea view rooms and Marriott LNF team keeps looking at the higher rates. Any tips?
