Thanks for the help.
I'm assuming that based on price and popularity you are referring to the New York Marriott Marquis but which property are you referring to as there are a couple (the ones coming to mind right now are the New York Marriott Marquis an the Atlanta Marriott Marquis).

My apologies for the 'vagueness' of the post. Yes it is the Marquis in NYC.

Looking for something in Columbus, Ohio, preferrably near OSU or the airport.
Dates are August 21 to 23 (2 nights).
Here are the properties I am definitely open to:

Distance from airport: Rates starting at
1. Columbus Airport Marriott 1.0 miles 129.00 (USD)
2. Courtyard Columbus Airport 2.0 miles 109.00 (USD)
3. TownePlace Suites Columbus Airport Gahanna 4.0 miles 84.00 (USD)
4. SpringHill Suites Columbus Airport Gahanna 4.0 miles 94.00 (USD)
5. Residence Inn Columbus Easton 5.0 miles 127.00 (USD)
6. Courtyard Columbus Easton 6.0 miles 119.00 (USD)
7. Courtyard Columbus Downtown 7.0 miles 109.00 (USD)
8. Residence Inn Columbus Downtown 7.5 miles 119.00 (USD)
9. The Columbus, A Renaissance Hotel 8.0 miles 119.00 (USD)
10. Fairfield Inn & Suites Columbus East 9.0 miles 99.00 (USD)
11. Residence Inn Columbus Worthington 15.0 miles 99.00 (USD)
12. Fairfield Inn & Suites Columbus OSU 15.0 miles 126.00 (USD) (changes to $109 on friday)

In my searching so far, I have only found one marginally beneficial LNF rate at the OSU Fairfield, it comes out to be :
Thursday, August 21, 2008 - Friday, August 22, 2008
(1 night) $82
Friday, August 22, 2008 - Saturday, August 23, 2008
(1 night) $109 (no rate reduction for the 2nd night).
( I could send the details on this one to anyone interested, but the savings are so meager I'm not sure anyone would be interested).

Parking fees are high at some of the downtown properties, so they may not be good options unless there is a killer comparison rate.
