I did the sign-in w/ email earlier today & was doing some searching on an award. When I went back to it a couple of minutes later was told I timed out & to resubmit my password (not email; just password), but every time I keyed it in I got the same message over & over. Cleared out cookies, internet, etc. Still problems.

Eventually going in via a dif method got in & loved the Xmas colors. Suddenly the white, red, black type/color scheme turned to red background, & deep green/blue typeface, so basically unreadable.

Cheers.

And Off-Topic - let me join the other FTers by saying your picking a dif font & color is actually quite difficult to read, so while in some cases you might have good input, I'm starting to join the 'roll past yours crowd' just cuz it's a pain. I realize it's to each their own, so for you it works. For some of us, so does scroll Don't want to force you into a bland corner, but since you're relatively new to FT (and Welcome BTW!), you might want to consider doing the regular font/color if you want input to be really considered.

Now back On-Topic - what's up w/ the Xmas colors & all the other stuff w/ the website. I'm assuming when Bruce (the mod) gets back from wherever he is he'll merge the 2 threads re: it, but boy in some ways Mariott IT definitely dropped the ball. And I'm not even as IT savvy as you all.

Cheers.

I did speak with my former colleague today and he informed me that they are applying a hot fix this evening to correct the Session Expired problem.

Hello,

Thank you for all of your feedback and patience on the new Marriott.com changes.

I have passed on the concerns and information that you have listed in this forum to our team heading the online implementations. They were unable to trap the exact problem until late yesterday, and as Aaupgrade stated in his earlier post, they will be loading a fix tonight.

Please keep me posted on any issues you may run into as it is always helpful to have this feedback when launching a new system.

Kind regards,

Hi Chris,

if you want get back to me and I will explain to your online team what the exact problem is. I've done enough web-based projects to spot these errors easily... but let's wait if the fix tonight will solve the issue...

Hubby and I use the same e-mail address, so I think we will have to use our membership numbers to sign in. Kind of a pain if you ask me. Don't always remember my MR number.

create a new gmail account.

Forward it to your old email account. you can use your gmail account to login and still get the e-folios in your old email account. If your common email account is not gmail you might even get the same user name.

Long time lurker. First time poster.

Only partial reservation shows up on new site

I have a Paid + Rewards stay coming up. The new site only shows the Rewards and not the paid stay in my upcoming reservations.

The order of the stays is Paid first and then Reward.

Do you have a confirmation number for the upcoming paid stay? If you do, then simply call Marriott Rez, and ask them whether the rez is in the system, if it is, then ask them if your MR is in the rez. If it is, then ask them why it isn't showing up on your profile. If you do not have a confirmation number, then you probably do not have a completed rez. If you have a confirmation number and you call Marriott rez and they do not have the rez in the system, then the record must have not been fully closed out somehow, or might have been canceled, but either way you will need to make another rez.

Since the title of FlysTooMuch post was "Only partial reservation", I came to the conclusion that FlysTooMuch has one reservation number that includes both paid and reward nights. But only the reward portion shows up in the online reservation detail.

Once again this shows the Marriott IT department's depth on knowledge with regard to their own software and what simple scenarios they neglected to test.
