Silver Status
How does Marriott determine elite status with regards to stays. Do they go by 12 month calender or a rolling 12 month sweep?
I have 58 stays from Feb. 2005 to Feb 2006 and I just received my silver card versus Gold. I was Gold last year and thought I had enough stays to keep my gold status.

It's not a rolling re-qualification...Your re-qualification timeframe is
Jan 1st through December 31st each year.

Gold status for the last two years, Plat before that. Well, I was just checking on whether or not some points had posted to my account and there it was......... "Silver status" at the top of my account page.
I thought status ran until March 1st?

At least, that's how I understand it from this thread. Please let us know how it works with you.
