Has any one received any notices about the Marriott Free Weekend Promotion in which you can earn a certificate for two free weekend nights? The last time I saw one was two years ago. I earned one then, but does anyone know if that promotion is going to appear again.

Also, let me know about any other promotions, that hasn't been out in a while.

There is a free weekend night promotion out right now (expires 1/15/06). Access your account online and click on "elite offers" for the details and an online printable coupon.

I saw your flyertalk.com response to my question about the free weekend promotion. I'm a silver member and after accessing my Marriott account, I searched through all the offers available to me, but I did not see it. Is this award for Silver members or Platinum members?

Unfortunately, I think that the mentioned promo is gold/plat only. We see them on the website as a special promotion for our elite levels.

Good luck finding a good promo, I am sure someone else here will help find one. I don't know of any at this time, unfortunately.

They're currently running a double (base) points promo. Expires 1/31/06 IIRC.

Are there any current promotions out there where you can earn a set amount of points just by booking at any Marriott hotel in one of the following cities: Atlanta, GA; Arlington, VA or Charlotte, NC?

If so, what is the promotional deadline date and promotional code, if applicable?

Is there a Buy One Night, Get One Night Free Promotion Certificate available for Silver Elite Members or for all levels?

Marcell, I miss those 2002-03 free night promos too, called W14 & ^ X14! The current 2x points promo pales by comparison.

I like to tell my friends about the time I walked into the $283 gross buxanite Renaissance Wash. DC with an X14 in my pocket & I knew how to use it ;) !

No - those certificates (called EEO around here - for Elite Exclusive Offer - go to Golds and Plats). But...frequently, when Golds and Plats can't use 'em, they will swap them with other FT'ers. I gave mine away already because I knew I wouldn't be doing any Marriott weekends in the allotted timeframe.

I think what you are looking for is the old Stay X nights, Receive a Free Weekend Night. The Hyatt-type promotion. Haven't seen that one in a while...lately, it's been a lot of Stay X nights, receive 5,000 bonus points or simply 2x points like they've been doing this winter.

I have been quite pleased with the current promotion as Oct-Jan have included a bunch of short but high-revenue business stays for me. So it's been nice picking up 6k-7k in bonus points for every 2-night stay.

Moi? I'm wondering if they'll be "on time" in a couple of weeks with the Elite Only Offers. More often than not, these wind up going to waste with me. But as luck would have it, I'll have occasion to use a b1g1 for the second two weekends of this month....at a Full-Serv Marriott and a Ren respectively.

The current batch of coupons expires Jan 15....and many of those reading this will call that the last batch didn't show for several weeks after they were expected in September.

Chris: Any word on this??

Where did you get the coupons for the B1G1 free promotion. I never saw this.

These quarterly coupons go to Gold and Platinum members by mail (usually late!). They are also available on-line.

To clarify....

I was referring to the Elite Exclusive Offers (EEO). These come in the mail in the form of "coupon booklets" and are also generally available online to Gold and Platinum members. The offers are typically updated quarterly, but last time around there appears to have been a delay in getting these out. Most (but not all) of the offers are 90 days in duration.

Are these coupon booklets or certificates transferrable so that they can be given to anyone or are they assigned to specfic MR members?
