The purpose of the question was to inquire as to whether anyone has ever benefitted (earned huge points) from the overlapping of any combination of promotions. I was using as the hypothetical example, the Double Points with Visa and Megabonus Promotions; whether or not promotions such as these have ever overlapped within the same period.

Easter promotion? If - when?

I'm considering to visit London during Easter if the hotel rates are attractive.

Do you think there will be an Easter promotion at Marriott, and if so - any educated guesses when the info will become available?

Thanks!

Marriot Promotions

Maybe I'm just spoilt after the last double points promotion, but has anyone heard anything about upcoming promos? I'm already signed up for the 35,000 bonus points and I doubt if I can make it coz my client will have me stay in a corporate apartment pretty soon.

You could call the platinum customer service line and request an alternative Megapoints promotion in order to earn some extra points. Since you are platinum, I think you can request one change to a promotion.

Thanks for the tip.

I have an updated round up on my site of most (not all but quite a few) of the Marriott Rewards Bonus point offers on one page

Hope this helps you all out, it is updated on quite a regular basis.

Almost 2 weeks ago, I had a 2 day stay at the Crystal Gateway Marriott. I used 2-$50 BBs which were accepted at the front desk again without question. The expiration date was coming up during the middle of March, so I was able to use them both.

Are there any Marriott promotions in which you can earn Marriott points for registering a hotel stay in Arlington, VA or Atlanta, GA?

See my previous question that I posted.

The Megabonus Promotion currently goes through Easter until May 15th. If you haven't already, register for this promotion.

I'm not aware of any specific promos awarding extra points in DC/ATL, but you've got your Megabonus of course, and I noticed from my own recent bookings that a bunch of the DC-area Marriotts are showing up under M11/M12 offering Bonus Bucks.

Sooooo...maybe you can pick up some new certificates with your upcoming stays?

Marriott Specials

Does anyone know of any specials or discounts going on with Marriott hotels at this time ? I looked on the website but did not see anything. I was looking for something like, pay for 4 nights, get a weekend for free. Any help would be apprecited as the site states $160/night (JW Marriott Bangkok in May)

use the coupons

f u use premium pounds or bonus bucks coupon, u save $170 or $100 per 2 nights, Asian countries always have good exchange rates

If you haven't already, enroll in Marriott Rewards. It will make you eligible to take advantage of "Never Ending Getaway," which, for stays at participating hotels probices for a $50 Bonus Buck for a one-night stay; $100 Bonus Book for a two-night stay.

Will also enable you to earn points for paid stays that translate into future no-cost stays. Obtaining certain Marriott-branded Visa cards will result in point bonuses, one free night (or one free night annually) and credit toward Elite status.

In terms of discounts available to anyone, check to see what may be available under AAA or Senior rates - also check "hotel specials" listed under each hotel (when offered).

Buy four nights - get a weekend free?

That'd be great - but I wouldn't hold my breath waiting for them to offer that.

Sorry to get in the middle of this thread, but I am wondering how one gets signed up for the bonus bucks? I have a Marriott Rewards account. Thanks.
