The most recent offers were about 45-60 days in duration, IIRC. I think I got mine around December 1 because of the delays.

They are not linked to a MR number. They are fully transferrable. I realized shortly before Christmas that there would be no way for me to use them by January 15th, so I mailed them to other FT'ers who could.

Golds and Plats also can view their EEO's online. Some folks have reported being able to book a stay, type "Using EEO 2nd Nt Free" in the comments, and present a screenshot of the online EEO at checkin. I've never done this: I've always called on the phone to double-check that I really, really could use the EEO with whatever particular rate I found, and then I've brought the original certificate out of the coupon booklet to the hotel.

I've used the screenshot. Works fine....as long as its not expired.

Can these coupons or certificates be used at any Marriott, CY, RI, etc. or are they specified on the certificate?

The B1G1 certs are good at Marriott and Renaissance (one for each) specifically and not at other hotel brands.

This weekend, I found myself in sudden need of a room and without my coupon book. I called the Plat line and reserved, and indicated I would use a B1G1. Arriving at the hotel, I found the printer in the nusiness center wasnt working, but was able to walk the front desk agent thru logging into my account and printing the cert out for me. :)

Although I did get the booklet in the mail, I must have tossed it out over the holidays. So since I needed to book a stay next weekend, I checked the website and you can get the offer through there:

The promotion is usually "ongoing"....meaning they usually just roll it over on a quaterly basis. Last time around there was a delay, however. Don't know if this means anything or not.

Keep this forum informed as to when the B1G1 promotion comes out again.

I just registered for the Megabonus promtion via info. from a 2nd thread regarding this promotion.

It stated that I would:

Earn: 10,000 Marriott Rewards bonus points every third paid stay (up to a total of 30,000 points).

Has there ever been any promotions that have overlapped before (for instance, the Megabonus Promotion and the Double Points with Visa Promotion)?

If so, has anyone ever benefited from the overlapping of promotions (that have share similar starting and ending promotional periods)?

I think that it has been a long time since I have seen decent promotions. Business must be good.....

I've benefitted from overlapping smallish promos. Stay 3 for 5k (any props) + 2,500 for each of the next 2 Renaissance stays. That one was going last summer.

Never seen them overlap two of their big systemwide "megabonus" type promotions though...

Maybe I'm missing something, but where's the overlap? The current "Double Points with VISA" promotion ends January 31, right? And the "Megabonus" promotion starts February 15.
