Mandatory password change?
I just tried logging in to my Marriot Rewards account and got the following message:
Anyone else have this experience? Is there a security problem at Marriott's end?

My change order was out of the blue. No email advising me to change the password in advance.

I had to go through the help desk - spent about half an hour on the phone with them (mostly on hold) to get an access code, a working password change portal, and to put through the change.
I'm annoyed that this came through with no notice. I never got the email - which should have been sent to everyone who would have to change their passwords, regardless of what other preference settings one has.
