Mandatory password change?
I just tried logging in to my Marriot Rewards account and got the following message:
Your immediate action is required.
In a continuing effort to safeguard your account, we are requiring you to change your password. We recommend that you create a password that is unique to this site to help ensure the security of your account. |

So did you get locked out in changing your password as discussed in the thread you've referenced? Or did the change work properly?

I had to go through the help desk - spent about half an hour on the phone with them (mostly on hold) to get an access code, a working password change portal, and to put through the change.
I'm annoyed that this came through with no notice. I never got the email - which should have been sent to everyone who would have to change their passwords, regardless of what other preference settings one has. |
