Courtyard Ewing, NJ
Anyone have any info about this Courtyard? Looking for a Marriott near Trenton Mercer airport. Sending someone to catch a private jet and am looking for something close. Thoughts and/or suggestions?
Cheers

Wow - that is great to know. Any thoughts on the hotel itself?

I've never actually stayed at this property, but I stayed at the Element directly across the street 2-3 times per month last year; I think they may be owned by the same company. I always really enjoyed the Element, it's very clean and the staff is friendly; the beds are very comfortable and the showers were nice. They have 1BR suites available at a reasonable price and those had a nice sitting area with a small kitchenette. I think that the Element and Courtyard share a shuttle that goes to the airport. You may be most interested in Marriott, but if you're flexible I would certainly recommend the Element (which is part of SPG).
As bo1953 mentioned, the airport is very very close - indeed, at the Element I would often hear jets taking off in the morning. I assume the same is true at the Courtyard. There isn't much in the immediate area, but for dinner I used to go to The Firkin Tavern and the food wasn't bad - not a fancy place though.
Sorry that doesn't answer your particular question, but hopefully the info helps and definitely consider the Element if you can..

Follow Up - Courtyard In Ewing, NJ
All the hotel properties in that area are fairly new, not more than five (5) years old.
There are several other hotels in the area, with Element being right across the street (thanks to RiS for pointing this out). Both are well kept, friendly staff and right by the airport with shuttle. Element presents a more upscale appearance and feel, while the Courtyard is standard in its' architectural presentation, staff is friendly there too.
If it is only one night, with no returns, I say go for it.
RiS, the next time you are in town there is Metro Grille (Italian) right on Scotch Rd., as well as Mikonos (Greek) both of which you pass going to Firkins. Just depends on ones palate for eats...
If you need or want additional info please fire away.

Thanks again - great info.
The reservation is not actually for me, it's for a colleague from Germany who is flying into PHL and then connecting the next day to a company plane in Trenton. I have no clue about the area so I came to FT (and FTers came through as usual ^). The guy is a Marriott Gold so I am guessing the Courtyard is preferable.
