From your comments, it is clear you have never done laundry yourself. Kudos.
I believe most real men would take the buttoning of three buttons in stride, keep calm, and carry on.
I sincerely hope that this is the worst problem with which you have to deal for the foreseeable future.

The obvious solution for the OP is to stroll over to Charles Tyrwhitt and load up on some semi-spread collars. Avoid the agony of finding that the poor guy sweating it out pressing your shirts in a great Chinese-owned laundry like I use is not rebuttoning collar points.^
