It's been known to happen in various forums - ie, I received too many points, airline miles, they didn't take the int'l systemwide upgrade cert, etc.
Rule of thumb on that sort of thing is be grateful, keep your head down/mouth shut, hope they don't catch it, but don't complain if they do.

Do you honestly think someone made a business decision to pay an employee to troll forums, looking for 1 in a 100 threads where people have talked about earning too many points, to then try to decipher from a user name who that customer was....and then take the points back? If you do, I have a bridge to sell you.
