Not sure why this is so hard, but trying to actually use the 7-day package is there anyway to book online? I called the reservation line and the CSR didn't even know what it was. Who do I need to call to book a stay with a TP cert?

I thought I was the only one. This is .... crazy. The website gives technical difficulties error always (it seems it is not supported). Called many numbers & no one has a clue as to how do it or what it means. They ask "are you trying to make a reservation?", "Do you have a hotel?" etc.

Folks,
The TP is NOT bookable online. If you guys care to read back a few pages you would save all your futile attempts trying to call reservation. The number to call is Marriott Reward customer service, NOT the reservation dept. This has been mentioned many many times in the past few months when the TP redemption suddenly became very attractive thanks to the SPG transfer ratio. |

Is there a way to upgrade and reserve a higher type room while using a TP?
I currently have a reservation for an oceanfront suite room at the Cayman Marriott. I am using a TP award for the room plus a bunch of upgrade certs. |
Any dps on how long it takes for miles to transfer to Southwest? (Sorry if I missed this scrolling through the pages.) We were tempted to get a vacation package with United when they have another bonus, but now we're thinking we could just get the CP. Only... it would really suck if they didn't transfer until 4/1. Thanks!
Sorry, never mind... Found what I was looking for. All systems go! |
This might also be of some help.
You CAN go ahead and reserve the nights you wanted to get online, using points you may or may not have yet. So that way, you're sure that you have it Call the Travel Package number 800-321-7396 Then they can convert it to the certificate. |
We booked the hotel using the Marriot travel package already and it says only 2 adults is included in the room. So for the 3rd person, the charge is about USD$50 per night so that's $350 USD for 7 nights+taxes. Now my question is, can you pay for the $350 with Marriot points?
Also, the 3rd person has GOLD status at Marriot as well as the other 2 adults in the room. So will the 3rd person also get free breakfast and lounge access? THANK YOU |
How long does it take to get the Aeroplan miles?

THANK YOU No - elite amenities are for the room holder and one guest, regardless of their status. The 3rd person would need to book their own room to technically be eligible; you could ask in the lounge thread about that specific property and whether the two per room max is enforced there, though. |

Booked the Aeroplan package today. Marriott is telling me 1-2 weeks for the Aeroplan points to post. If it is 2 weeks or longer it will be close to the deadline for the current Aeroplan promotion of April 17th.

Based on my 3 travel package purchases, my hypothesis is that the points show up Tuesday of the next week. That's regardless if it is Monday or Friday.

Just in case any stragglers like me on the SW deal, I was told 3 biz days not including today so there by the 30th. I would say that tomorrow is the last day that you can safely take advantage of this to get it there by the 31st.
