I think we do a good job of keeping things from getting out of hand.
Also, the only anger I have seen has been towards Marriott and most of it based on specific incidents.
So a no moderator vote from me.
What is needed is an official Marriot Lurker.
As I begin my change from Marriott to SPG, I can say it is nice to get official answers to questions.
Socrates does a great job, but someone who officialy can respond would be better.
Just one more reason this will be my last Platinum year with Marriott.
Marriott motto seems to be "We Care - Just not too much". Sort of like a C student, just enough to get by and hope no one notices.
I'll still be gold and still own a Marriott T/S so I hope someday they fix things.

Are you saying SPG has an official Lurker on FT, and responds to all you needs, and questions? No need to contact SPG, just log onto FT???

Weve heard your feedback from various postings here on Flyertalk regarding this issue and would like to do a brief survey. If you can remember specific properties where you have had problems of this kind in the past year, please let us know.
Senior management will be reviewing this information in an attempt to sort out the worst and repeat offenders for additional property level training. Specifically, we are interested in any violations of compliance as outlined and defined in the Terms and Conditions of Membership for this elite level. If you think that a specific property is denying your just benefits as a Gold elite member in the program, please describe the situation briefly, but in detail; however, we urge you to continue using the customer service channel of your choice to report any specific incidents.
Sincerely,
William R. Sanders

Answered my own question!!! But you all will note the suggestion to use customer service channel for all other problems. I don't think a "Lurker's" job on FT is to solve EVERYONE'S problem, or answer individual questions however.

If the Marriott forum currently had a moderator, this thread would be locked and moved to another forum, as it is the only thread that is off-topic.
