Also, most all Marriott hotel certificates are e-certs now and NOT paper certs. So in almost every case, the hotel cert will reside within your Marriott account online. So you don't have to worry about returning it if you decide to change the category level or extend it.

3 0830 for 705K points.
Or you could do 2 0830 to cover 2 rooms for 7 nights and 240K miles and then use a mileage rewards 790 which will convert 30K points into 10K miles.. This option would cost 500K Marriott rewards points.
I'm not sure if these would work for you since in your OP you mentioned only having 300K. You do have the option of purchasing points up to 50K a year. Also you may transfer points in from a friends or family members account at the time ordering the rewards.
Your best bet may be to order one travel package and to cover a portion of the expenses for your trip.

The day MR stops the travel packages, is the day I start to use an airline credit card...and STOP using marriotts card!!!
