I didn't get a letter and couldn't find anything at www.marriottrewards.com. Where do you register?

The sign-up link appeared this afternoon for me (it wasn't there this morning). I got the 15-night/30000-point offer. Not as good as last year.

Definitely targeted in some manner. Mine was 5,000 points for 5 nights.

If it matters, I have 7 nights already this 12-month period. I wonder whether those of you getting the 30K for 15 nights offer are already Gold? But that still doesn't explain the 10K for 5 nights offer RoadRash got.

I'm Silver. I got offered 10K for 5 nights. Looks pretty clear how they are targeting this...

I'm surprised that they aren't extending the bigger carrots to the lower levels, though. In 2.5 months, a Silver member averages about 4 to 8 nights (pardon the rough math...). As long as I'm not in the lowest end of that, offering me the 5-for-10K is pure gravy. Why not tempt me with the 10-for-20? Then maybe I book an extra Marriott stay I would have otherwise booked at Starwood or Hyatt. Just musing...

Off-topic, but semi-related: US Airways would periodically make megabonus offers for January/February travel. I'm just coming off of my United summer-from-hell bonuses, eagerly awaiting US's 2001 offer...

My offer was 10,000 for 8 nights. Not worth it for me. I'll focus on Hyatt Night after Nights.

The deal I got was...

Stay 5 Nights between 12/15/00 and 2/28/01 and you will receive 10,000 points.

I am a Marriott Silver.
