40K free points?

I got a flyer Saturday saying that if I stayed 18 nights between Dec. 15 and March 31 I would get 40,000 bonus points.

Anyone else get this? Did I read this right that it doesn't even matter if it's at a Marriott or Fairfield?

My offer arrived today. 6 nights for a 5000 point bonus.

Of course, as the offer says at the bottom, "The details of this offer, including the number of nights needed to achieve your bonus, and the number of bonus points awarded, are exclusive to the Marriott Rewards member named in this brochure."

Just a sec...let me grab it from the trash.

40,000 for 18 nights. Don't have to register. Any property. It doesn't look targeted to me and does say to refer to the website which I did last night but could not find.

Am I the only one?

Am I the only one not getting these offers, or is mine in the mail? These are all great offers and would be rather easy for me to achieve. The only one I might have a problem getting is the 40k for 18 nights through 3/31/00. So far, through 3/31, I am guaranteed (confrimed trips) 10 nights.

so for Catman it is STAYS, for most others it is NIGHTS - and for me, until now, nothing - but the postman has a long way to go to my home.

what hotels do count (Renaissance?, Courtyard?)

Mine could be the stingiest of all.....3 nights for 3,000 points! I'm guessing they tracked your previous overnight frequency and matched the offer to that. In my case, I get all my Marriott points from deposit of timeshare weeks and credit card purchases, so they know I would not respond to an offer for 18 nights.

P.S. The way I read it, ALL properties qualify....Courtyard, Fairfield, Residence Inn, and Renaissance, as well as "regular" Marriotts.

Just got mine today...10 nights for 10K points between 12/15-3/31.

Same as Capt. Mike, all properties included.

I just realized I might be able to make this. I'll have a 5-6 night stay at the Marriott in Anaheim in late Jan. or early Feb.

I wonder if the bonus has anything to do with Marquis/ Courtyard Club membership level?

I've got 100 nights at Marriott (Platinum) and 100 nights at Courtyard (Gold) this year. I received nothing. I stay at the hotels nearly every week. I just got my monthly statement today -- was it included with the statement?

It's annoying that even though I've accumulated half a million points in a year I don't get any offer.. hopefully it's in the mail...
