Marriott Rewards members who register for this promotion by March 31, 2011, will earn one (1) free night award at a category 1-4 hotel after every second paid stay made between February 1, 2011, and April 30, 2011, at a participating Marriott property.
Maximum two (2) free night awards earned with this promotion per member.
An earned free night award can be redeemed for a future stay at participating Marriott Rewards category 1-4 properties for one (1) free night between February 1, 2011, and September 30, 2011.

A query ..
I got the 1 free night for every 2 stays offer..
Now, I went thru the T&C's of the same and I believe that MR points will be awarded for the qualifying stays ?? Is this understanding correct ??
Maybe I am wrong, but I guess this offer is a decent one compared to the stay XXX get yyy points, since this gives 2 nights in a cat 1-4 hotel making the points value anything from 20-40k for the redemption.. and much better than stay 20 get 25/39k MR points IMO..

Yes, you will get full credit for nights and points for the stays that earn you the free nights. You do not get any nights or points credit when redeeming the free nights.

So I have stay Jan 24-Feb 4th wondering how many night I will get?
Rules read FAQ
"If I check in before February 1, 2011 or check out after April 30, 2011, do I still earn credit for that stay?
As long as one (1) eligible night occurs during the eligibility earning window (February 1, 2011 April 30, 2011), a member would earn a credit for that stay toward their MegaBonus."
Does that mean I get credit for Feb 1st-Feb 4th? or the entire stay?
Rules read FAQ

After calling, it did post today with the promo:
Earn 25,000 bonus points after 15 paid nights. Earn an additional 15,000 bonus points after 20 paid nights (for a maximum of 40,000 points).

Found mine. It's the 20/35,000 and 25/15,000. Already have that booked for the month of February. Finally, a MegaBonus that I will get the maximum!

i am gold, and got the buy 2 get 1, BUT my certs are up to Cat 5, which is a very good offer nonetheless, so I will definitely be taking advantage of mine. : )

Are you positive that the terms and conditions of your megabonus say the certs you would get are up to Cat. 5?

I does seem to be decent, if you can use the nights. My wife and I, unfortuanately, seem to have trouble finding times to use them. Don't want to use them on business trips, and we seem to end up in a lot of Courtyards and prefer to book suites when we travel for fun. So, I think I am going to see if I can get one of the points offers.
