Oh yeah....I have fond memories of the Dunphy (or Dunphey or whatever), quirks and all. Definitely an upper-echelon place. I was glad to see it find new life as a Marriott. Especially after seeing it as a vacant hulk for a couple of years.

The Hyatt was nice enough, but something about it just sort of left me flat.

I'm guessing the old Hyatt at LAX was the first airport-specific hotel. It changed hands 5-7 years ago, but I can't recall what it is newly branded.

the hell I give them is that I do not stay at Marriott properties on the weekends
