Maybe you should try posting this in the Caribbean forum... might have better luck there unless you are looking for a review or report specifically on the St. Kitts Marriott.
In any event try this link http://www.independenttraveler.com/t...rts.cfm?ID=229
Nice comprehensive report - enjoy the reading.

Marriott Royal St. Kitts
We just returned from a week at the Marriott Royal St. Kitts.
A wonderdul place. Staff are excellent, rooms are great, beach and pools are good. Lots for choices for meals. We left the propoerty one day and were happy to stay at the resort for the rest.
In our opinion, the steakhouse was the best, with the Italian and the seafood places following. Meals at the buffet were ok. Lunch by the pool is expensive and not that great.
A very relaxing place.

Thanks for this post. It is always a pleasure for me to read positive reviews about properties and experiences in the islands that I consider home. IMHO I think the St. Kitts Marriott is the finest of their Caribbean properties and I am glad you enjoyed it. Did you take time out to enjoy the Sushi ^?
To olimaspecto, you should have a fantastic time when you get here. Be sure to post or PM me your flight details and I will be happy to show you around, assuming that I am not on business travel during the month on June.
Looking forward to meeting fellow FTers.

Good to hear it's still going well. I stayed there with my family just after it opened and had a similar very positive experience. The island as a vacation spot was quite nice, as long as you're not looking for a "Caribbean island that feels like it's part of the US" type of stay.

Thanks for the post. I have considered this property as a winter getaway for more than a year, but every time I look into flight routing from YUL, I give up. THere aren't that many airlines that service St Kitts in the first place, but AA through Miami seems like the only option to me.
Seeing that you are from YOW, could you let me know what was your routing.

If anyone is going to the Marriott St.Kitts, be VERY careful with gambleing in their casino. It is licensed to a different company and they are unethical in many ways. The least of these is having their reps promise certin comps and then not honoring them and claiming that the reps are outside reps and not under their control. Also many of the games are not "fair". This is not Vegas, there is not the same type of oversight here.
I went there with some friends at the Invitation of the casino and we all agreed we would NEVER gamble there again.
However the property itself was nice outside of the casino and make sure to rent a car and drive around the island. You can also take a boat over to Nevis which is nice for a day.
Of course the inter-island flights to St.Marteen for shopping for a day are also very cheap.

TripAdvisor Awful Reviews - St. Kitts
I have a trip planned for 10 February thru 17 February on points. I'll be traveling with my 14th month old and husband. When I booked - all the reviews on this forum and tripadvisor gave very good to exceptional reviews. Recently, on tripadvisor the hotel has received awful reviews. Moreover, the majority of those reviews traveled with younger guests citing awful service. A couple of questions - my first instinct is to cancel and look elsewhere. Would you do such? Secondly, my second thought is too go and if its bad check out - BUT will the points be reimbursed? Thiirdly, do you recomend contacting the hotel's manager expressing my concern regarding these reviews. Any input and/or recs are greatly appreciated.
