For those wondering, I was communicated by the hotel at all one bedroom bungalows are limited to occupancy of 2 people (adult or child). Anything over 2 people needs the 2-bdrm villa.
Has anyone booked with points and paid to upgrade to the 2 bedroom villa? |
For those with platinum and above status, is there free breakfast as one of the choices? If so, is it a la carte or the full buffet? I saw the breakfast menu and it has multiple options.

as platinum, the welcome gifts are either 1000 points, a bottle of local liquor or free breakfast for 2. full buffet. However, you'll have to pay for any alcoholic beverage.

there is a Westin shuttle to the main BB island, but the Westin shuttle drops you off on the eastern side of the island whereas most restaurants are near Vaitape (western side of the island). Vaitape is where where FS, StR and other resort boats drop ppl off

Does anyone have a good contact for the hotel for direct communication about reservations?
We have stayed at the SR BB many times - we were considering the Westin this summer but I can’t wrap my head around the 2 person max! Our daughter is 6 and no where there or otherwise has that ever impacted room selection or availability. As we will only go if we can use points want to see what options exist (if any). thank you!! |

i am planning to stay at the main island near the airport ferry terminal before going to Westin. Do you know if I can utilize the free airport ferry shuttle to go to the airport and then meet the Westin shuttle there? I was googling around and it says I need to have a boarding pass to ride the shuttle ferry, but not sure how strict they are with this.
I’d say an easier solution would be to get the daily shuttle schedule for the Westin boat and meet it at the base on the island which would then take you directly to the hotel eliminating the need to stop at the airport. I’d clarify and arrange all of this in advance with the hotel so they can anticipate your arrival! |
What's the best upgrade that Gold members can get?

To clarify: you are staying on the main island of Bora Bora in a hotel or similar and once that part of the stay is complete you want to head back to the airport to meet the Westin Shuttle?

Instead of getting a taxi to the eastern part of the island and meet the Westin boat shuttle at that base, I thought it would be easier to take the airport ferry shuttle back to the airport and meet the Westin shuttle at the airport? Just not sure if I can take the airport shuttle if I don’t have a valid boarding pass for that day. |

Is the base north of the settlement of Anau on the east side of the main island just opposite the resort? We were trying to find the location on a map.

Water Depth
Does anyone know the water depth for the lagoon bungalows?
I know the standard bungalows are farther out and there is quite a few of them. Does anyone know the water depth of the standard bungalows? |
